It was pretty much impossible to pick the potential podium winners in the Ironman 70.3 Miami results 2016 as there was so much talent in both the male and female fields.

For the men it was the usual mass arrival at the swim finish and is often the case with this caliber of field the 66-mile bike leg clears the muddy waters and will indicate who will be standing on top of the podium.

In this case it was Terenzo Bozzone of New Zealand who was five minutes better than anyone else on the bike course. When a pro of this caliber goes into a 13.1-mile run with this type of lead it can be very hard to catch him.

That was the case in Miami on Sunday October 23, 2016.

A steady run time of 1:15:00 was more than enough to seal top spot on the podium for Bozzone in the Ironman 70.3 Miami results 2016.
